Opening Event
“The Things They Carried”
Unveiling the Place of Objects in the Global Circulation of Knowledge
Museums are packed with scientific objects, each with a rich biography of know-how, people and places. In an event hosted by Circulating Knowledge: 20 Years On, the public is invited to hear how David Pantalony, Curator, Science and Medicine, Ingenium – Canada’s Museums of Science and Innovation, connects science and society by following the history of these objects as they move in and out of multiple contexts. Pantalony will also present a digital exhibit being launched as part of the conference.
All conference participants are warmly invited to suggest objects to be included in the digital conference by filling the following online form.
Special Event
