Congratulations to Dr. Gordon McOuat on being awarded a Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council (SSHRC) Insight grant!  Dr. McOuat is a professor in Science Studies in the Contemporary Studies program and the History of Science and Technology Program at the University of King’s College, Halifax.  He is also the Project Director for Cosmopolitanism and the Local in Science and Nature.

Dr. McOuat’s project focuses on scientist J.B.S. Haldane’s passage to India in 1957 and is titled “Circulating knowledge in a post-colonial world: J.B.S. Haldane’s passage to India – biopolitics, evolution and diversity.”  You can read more about Dr. McOuat’s work and the grant here.
