Alicia Elliott in Halifax August 7

Alicia Elliott, author of the acclaimed memoir A Mind Spread Out on the Ground (Doubleday Canada), a personal and critical meditation on trauma, legacy, oppression and racism in North America, will present a public reading on Wednesday, August 7 at 6:30 p.m. in Paul O’Regan Hall. Alicia, a Tuscarora writer from Six Nations of the Grand River, is this year’s writer-in-residence in the Master of Fine Arts in Creative Nonfiction program at King’s.
